Time Management – Priorities

There are two main things I’ve learnt about people who have bad time management, 1. They Don’t know how to say no, 2. They have no priorities. Do you know those people who always say ‘Me!’, those people who are quick to say yes to every request without thinking of the strain that this will put on their priorities ? It may even be you, you may commit and sign yourself up for things you clearly don’t have time for, just because you can’t say no. I’m not saying you can’t take up new opportunities but for example, with myself I have a whole load of things on my ‘To do List’ everyday and sometimes new opportunities come that I can’t bear to see pass by and I don’t drop anything on my ‘To do list’ because they’re my priorities , I just simply sacrifice! I stay up extra late, wake up extra early and its painful but it saves me from being inconsistent.
Inconsistency leaves you with a bad reputation.

A good reputation and respect are worth much more than silver and gold.

The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.
